Conference Program: In-Person Delegates

Dear delegates

By now you will be aware that we cancelled Day 1, Tuesday 29th conference proceedings. We are deeply saddened to share the news that Professor John Hopper AM tragically passed away on Monday night. This has been a shock to us all and we are mourning the loss of a great friend and colleague.

As a member of our conference organising committee, we know that John was extremely proud of this meeting and believe he would have wanted us to continue on with the program. We have decided to hold a condensed program today for Day 2, Wednesday, October 30th

Wednesday sessions commence at 8.45am AEDT and continue until 3.30pm both for in-person and online delegates. For in-person delegates, the Wednesday conference remains at The Woodward Conference Centre – details below.

Please do not feel under any obligation to attend. We want to offer delegates the opportunity to participate but only if individuals feel they are comfortable to do so.

If you would prefer to attend online, you are welcome to use the link here Also, all the sessions will be recorded and available to delegates in due course.

Professional counselling services are available today if you need support at the nearby Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, 207 Bouverie Street on Level 5 Room 516 – from 9:30am to 5pm.
